All Stars Breakfast and After School Club

All Stars Club Hours 8.00-9.00am and 3.15- 6.00pm

The aim of the club is to provide a wide and varied programme of After School entertainment for your children, extracurricular activities as well as offering childcare. Every day we will aim to provide a choice of two activities between 3.15pm and 6pm in an attempt to cater for the differing wants and needs of children at the Nursery and neighbouring primary School. Each evening we will have a theme and activities will be focused on more down time activities but still having lots of fun with their friends.

All Stars Club Play schemes

We are proud to announce that we will be running our Play scheme again this year.

 

The dates are as follows:

 

Easter – Monday 10th April – Thursday 13th April

 

Summer – Monday 24th July – Thursday 27th July and Monday 31st July – Thursday 3rd  August 2017

 

Booking forms will be emailed out nearer the time. There are limited number of spaces and it is done on a first come first served basis.

All Stars Example Weekly Tea Menu

 

Monday

Sausages and mash with baked beans

Yoghurt, jelly or fruit platter

 

Tuesday

Jacket Potato with toppings: cheese, beans, tuna sweet corn and ham.

Muffin or slice of cake

 

Wednesday

Pasta with: cheese or tomato sauce, ham, grated cheese and garlic bread.

Mousses

 

Thursday

Chicken nuggets or fish fingers with sweet corn, beans or Spaghetti.

Wafer biscuit

 

Friday

No tea but a snack of a drink either crumpets, pancakes, bagels etc

About the All Star Clubs

Science Club

Learn interesting science and technology facts by experimenting with different materials that react in surprising ways.  Children will take part in experiments using simple ingredients found around your house.  These experiments are simple, safe and perfect for kids.

 

Beauty Club

The children will be getting creative, making their own face masks from fruit, vegetables and yoghurts.  They will also be treated to hand and foot massages by the lovely Emma.

 

 Art & Crafts

All children love to create, the children participate in activities such as Ceramic, wood and foam craft, fabric art and gifts for Mother’s Day and Easter. Come and join the fun!

 

 Cookery Club

The children will be getting involved and making ham and cheese pinwheels, yoghurt parfait, potato skins with cheese and chive or cheese and ham filling, funny face biscuits, small lasagnes and fruit crumbles.

 

Performing Arts Club

The children will be guided in the creation of an origin production which they will advertise and perform.  They will learn how to create characters using their voices, body language and costume design.

 

Friday Fun

On Fridays the children will be able to choose a range of activities as an end of week treat.  We will also have colouring competitions and board game tournaments.

 

Hockey, Football and other sports

The children will be learning new skills, learning to work as part of a team. They will be having a good exercise workout which will help towards a healthy lifestyle.

 

 

The ALL STARS Breakfast & After School Club

About the ALL STARS Club

The aim of the club is to provide a wide and varied programme of After School entertainment for your children, extracurricular activities as well as offering childcare.

The Breakfast club runs 8am – 9am everyday and your child will be served breakfast and taken up to school by a member of staff at 8.50am and handed over to their teacher. This session is priced at £4.70.

The After School clubs run Monday to Friday from 3.15pm – 6pm. Friday Fun runs until 5pm

Every day we will aim to provide a choice of two activities between 3.15pm and 5pm for the cost of £8.00 in the attempt to cater for the differing wants and needs of children at the Nursery and School. Those children not wanting to attend one of the more structured activity sessions may also choose to attend Free Play session in the Nursery where they will have a choice of playing with whatever toys and games they would like or if they are tired and just want to relax in a safe and caring environment they can choose to read some books.

From those staying for the late session 5pm – 6.00pm we will serve a light tea at 5.30pm (example weekly tea menu). Each evening we will have a theme and activities will be focused on more down time activities but still having lots of fun with their friends. This session is priced at £4.50.

Please note: The program and booking form will be emailed out at the end of term for the following term. They are also available to pick up from the Nursery or to download from the website. An emergency contact form must be completed before your child attends. Forms are also available on the Website and from the Nursery.

All places will require an advanced booking and registration form and upfront payment in the cash, cheque or vouchers. Bank transfer can also be arranged if you would prefer this method. Payment will be due before the start of term to secure the place. Please make cheques payable to Horspath Nursery All Star Club.
