A big 'Thank you!'
I wanted to say a very big thank you to everyone who helped out or supported last Friday’s Pamper evening.
We managed to raise £1080 which is absolutely amazing (our target was £500) – this money will now go towards Stage 3 of our Outside Project – replacing the back area with a new exciting climbing frame structure and slide.
Special mentions for Allie Mclean who organised the whole event with me, Karen for doing a fab job selling raffle tickets, Tess for designing the posters and tickets, Cynthia and Clare for baking the delicious brownies and everyone else who generously donated wine, helped out on the night, stayed behind to help clear up and of course those who sold and bought tickets or raffle tickets…and I am going to thank everyone for getting pampering treatments on the night too as every penny of that was donated to our cause.
We hope our new sandpit and stage will be installed by the end of the month. Then we have another few thousand to raise before we can place the order to complete our project. So I will look forward to seeing you all at our next major event – Auction Night – on Friday 26th March. Last year we raised £2,500 on this night so we’ll be looking to top that this year, so any suggestions/help or contacts you can offer would be fantastic.
